Philip J. Hiltner
Philip Hiltner attended Denison University of Ohio and graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2013. In law school, he was a leader in the student Trial Bar and a staff member of the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy. He was admitted to practice law in Michigan in 2013 and Ohio in 2015.
After his admission to the bar, Mr. Hiltner worked in the Tuscola County court system as a law clerk to the Hon. Amy Grace Gierhart, researching and drafting opinions for dispositive motions in complex civil litigation cases, and on felony criminal matters. In October 2015, he began as the Family Division Referee, holding hearings for custody, parenting time, and child support disputes.
Mr. Hiltner lives in Detroit and enjoys reading, running, and exploring the city on his bike.
